We have found a number of reviews online for the Sevylor Fastback Kayak and all but one gave this product extremely high marks. (I’ll highlight the exception shortly). Multiple reviewers were very pleased with the durability, speed of inflating (once you get used to it) and the ability to store it in a small area when not being used. It certainly seems to live up to its claims of being a very durable and easy to use inflatable kayak.
Many reviewers also commented on the storage areas within the Sevylor Fastback Kayak. It has been described as amazing. There is room to put everything you need to take with you. Once thing that is a bonus is the waterproof pouch so you can take your cell phone and gps without any worries. This is excellent if you are worried about taking valuables with you on your trip.
Being an inflatable, a number of reviewers commented on how it is harder to paddle directly into the wind, when comparing this to a hard kayak. Inflatable kayaks can be prone to catching the wind slightly, but when you offset this against the convenience an inflatable kayak provides, this is not generally regarded as an issue. One reviewer was however concerned about a seem that had not been sealed correctly. There is only one report of this, which you are fully covered in the warranty, so don’t let this put you off.

According to our research the Sevylor Fastback Kayak is a good quality inflatable kayak. Although the majority of the reviews were very positive, there was one exception re an issue with the seem, but this appears to be an exception.
