Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Kayak – Reviews
Our research into the Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Kayak turned up a lot of very positive reviews. The main message that became clear by virtually every review was how well made and high quality the inflatable kayak is. This is excellent to know when you are paying the higher price for this type of kayak.
Many of the reviewers highlighted the size of the advanced elements advancedframe kayak when you want to store or carry it. In comes in a duffel bag, about the size of a suitcase, which weighs in at around 30lbs. It can easily fit into the trunk of a car, from a small car as one reviewer highlighted – Honda Civic to a larger car. It is quite easy to fit 2 into the trunk. When at home, it is very easy to store as opposed to having to find room for a full size kayak.
When you are used to it, it will take around 10 minutes to inflate – even quicker if you use a larger pump. To deflate, it takes around the same time, but it has been highlighted that you must make sure it is dry before you put it back into its bag. The use of an absorbent towel will help with this.
There are numerous reviews as to how stable the Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Kayak is. We found no negatives to this effect. It has been highlighted on many occasions that it will perform equally as well as the standard hard kayak. It tracks well in the water and holds pretty well in the wind. A few of the reviewers did highlight that you may consider the addition of the backbones, which will make the hull more sturdy.
If you exceed 6’1 in height or are large built, then it may be wise to consider the larger model than the advanced elements advancedframe kayak. Although there is sufficient room for an ‘average’ height & built person, should you be above this, then it may be a bit of a tight squeeze. It should be highlighted that the total weight of the boat with yourself and your gear should not exceed 300lbs.
